Security of supply
Our task is to provide storage and storage capacities at fair market conditions to enable energy suppliers in Central Europe to reliably supply their customers. The storage facilities are filled by our business partners, while our responsibility lies in ensuring the high availability of technical facilities and minimizing operational risks – as a contribution to a secure and sustainable energy future.

Safe facilities and work processes
In addition to security of supply, the safety and resilience of our facilities are also top priorities. RAG Austria AG adheres to the highest safety standards to ensure a safe working and living environments for all our employees, neighbors and communities. Safe operating sites and stable work processes are a basic requirement for us – both for our social responsibility and for the long-term success of our company.
The ESG working group responsible for this area is currently defining specific targets and implementing appropriate measures to ensure a continuous improvement process. Their implementation and progress will be reported in the next sustainability report in 2025.
